In the color wheel activity I expanded my knowledge of: primary, secondary, tertiary; complementary, split complementary, analogous, and triad colors. I was able to learn all of these terms and see them in action just by using the color wheel.
Monochromatic Painting
Monochromatic painting is a painting where we only had three colors of paint to use. I used red, white and black. I studied one portrait and painted it by illustrating what I saw.
In the tonal scale exercise i blended the colors white and read to make pink colors and I blended red and black to make maroon colors. In this exercise I saw the difference between tones and hues.
